WARNING AND ADVICES IN INSTALLING CONTROLS AND ANY ELECTRONICAL DEVICES
On the electrical panel and inside the machine, command cables must be kept entirely separate from power connections.
Otherwise is also possible use shielded cable for the command cables and connect the shield only at the earth of the control.
To avoid dispersion currents, both ends of the motor cable shield, the motor earth, and the regulator earth must be connected to the same earth pole.
To avoid dispersion currents, the motor cable shield, the motor earth, the control earth and the filter EMC earth must be connected to the same PE earth pole.
If is possible don't connect to earth the 0 volt commands.
For the on-off command signals use only relay contacts. Don't use contactor contacts.
Avoid to introduce electromechanical devices from the control to the motor cable.
If the length of the power, motor and control cables exceeds 10m, make sure they are separated by at least 0.3 metres to avoid creating a coupling effect.
If controls are set up in environment subject to electromagnetic disturbance, they should be housed inside a suitable metallic enclosure.
During voltage insulation tests disconnect the control and filter power lines In/Out.
EMC FILTER - ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
If an EMC external filter is fitted, it must be connected in series with the controller power supply, as near as possible to the power supply terminals. If this is not feasible, the connecting cable between the filter and the controller must be shielded with the braiding connected to the electric panel earth PE connection.
To avoid the cross-talk, the input and output filter cables cannot be set on parallel. Connect the filter terminals earth to the PE earth pole.
For information about the filters call directly the technical-commercial FAE office.
